DSCE Bangalore Course Highlights

DSCE Bangalore Admission Process
Candidates applying for B.E. and M.Tech course are required to get certain marks in the qualifying exam. Applicants are required to get certain marks for admission in engineering courses. These two qualifying exams are COMEDK UGET, KCET and GATE.
KCET is the Karnataka Common Entrance Test and GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering. The B. E. candidates are required to get a certain score in KCET and M. tech candidates are required to get certain scores in PGCET test.
KCET is conducted by the Karnataka government and is followed by a personal interview round. However, the final selection of the candidates is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and the personal interview round score.
- For admission in full-time M. Tech course, GATE score is considered.
- For admission in full-time B. E. course, KCET score is considered.
- For PhD courses, admission is based on the marks scored in ULRAT exams and an interview conducted by VTU.

DSCE Bangalore Result and Cut-off
The cut-off list is announced after the KCET and PGCET results are out. The cut-off mark is set by the institute. Candidates applying for a particular course have to cross the certain cut-off mark decided by the institute.
All the candidates have to cross the cut-off mark in order to get admitted to a particular course. For B. E. candidates, KCET cut-off list is considered. M. Tech candidates have to cross the PGCET or GATE cut-off mark.
The cut-off list is prepared on the basis of the number of participating candidates, their scores in the qualifying exam, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of seats available in the institute.
